Invest in yourself.
You can invest in yourself in so many ways that are good for you!
Invest in Yourself Financially
Create stocks | I use the Robinhood app for micro-investing. The app allows you to buy micro shares (aka not a whole share). If you use this link you and I will both get a free share! Stocks are a great way to increase your financial net worth.
Have a high yield savings account | Create a high yield savings account so your money grows for you!
Create a budget | Create an actual budget that you can stick to. If you aren’t sticking to the budget you will still be over spending.
Have a job that you love | While it’s important to have an income, make sure you like your job! If you don’t like it, figure out what needs to change so you enjoy it.
Invest in Your Physical Health
Create a workout plan | No need to go to a gym, create a plan that works for you!
Know your body | Learn about your body and what is good for it! My scale gives me so much information! My scale is not pregnancy safe, though. Make sure you check on this if you’re pregnant or planning on getting pregnant. You can also find different ones here. I already knew that I’m constantly dehydrated, my scale literally proves it and shows how little water I keep in my body.
Drink water | Make sure you are drinking enough water. This is literally my number one downfall! I keep a Yeti on hand all day every day. I keep it pretty full!
Do what you enjoy | Only exercise how you want to! If you don’t enjoy running, you won’t keep doing it. Consistency is key!
Invest in Your Mental Health
Take time for yourself | Give yourself 30 minutes every day that is just for yourself. If you don’t have 30 minutes, take 5! I take time every day by watching a tv show and doing a workout.
Do things you enjoy | Focus on things you enjoy! Whether this means going for a walk or going shopping. Take the time to do something you like!
Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup!
