Shop your closet and create new outfits! Styling outfits is one of my favorite things to do. I love to find pieces that go together. I’ve been known to say “I like my money where I can see it-in my closet”. Which is great, except I also really like to save money. One thing I’ve gotten a lot better at this year is styling outfits from my closet.
The idea behind these posts is that you can see what I would mix and match in my closet to make different outfits.
I include prices in posts like these so that if you wanted to shop, you’re not blindsided when you click on the link.

Shop Your Closet-Outfit #1
Jeans price varies (wear the sweater untucked)
Skirt $24.99 (tuck the sweater into the skirt)
Booties $45.99, instead of booties with the skirt I would do ballet flats
Scarf $13.97 (wear straight down)
Michael Kors Crossbody $92.65
Shop Your Closet-Outfit #2
Jeans (price varies)
Booties price varies-you could really wear any color bootie; however, I love how fun the snakeskin look is!
Women’s Vest $24.99
Leggings $14.95–a great option if you don’t want to do jeans.
Riding Boots price varies ($124-$378)-these boots are some of my favorites. Frye boots literally last forever. My cowboy boots are from high school and still look almost brand new. These are great to wear with leggings instead of booties.
Tote Bag $195
One tip that I learned while working in retail was to always wear five pieces. So, if you wear a dress that is one, a necklace and bracelet count as one each, shoes, and a sweater for a total of five pieces. This helps you look more put together and is something that I try to think about when I’m styling outfits.
Would you like to see a particular piece styled?
