Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I’ve talked a little bit about my faith here. I am by no means a pastor, but I did want to share some thoughts with you.
First, let’s consider the actual reason for our Christmas celebration. It’s not just to give each other presents, but remember this is the day of Jesus Christ’s birth!
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.New International Version
Everyone is well aware of how 2020 has been full of trials and tribulations. It is definitely not the year any of us expected to have. I definitely did not foresee how my life changed. I’ll be sharing more on that on December 30th.
Keeping this in mind, I truly believe that God does not give us anything we can’t handle. I also believe that our story is already written. There is a reason 2020 happened the way it did. Whether you got to spend more time with family or suddenly had the time for the hobby you love but never can do because of time restraints.
Some people have only a few presents under their tree because this year was a little leaner financially than previous ones.
No matter how your 2020 turned out, remember this holiday season is because our savior was born. I’m wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
